Ms. Jennifer Black joined the firm in 2017 and leads the operations function which includes SMA operations, fund accounting, tax and performance reporting. She previously was responsible for all aspects of tax functions related to Tortoise Capital’s closed- and open-end funds and exchange-traded funds. Prior to joining Tortoise Capital, Ms. Black served as a manager with KPMG, LLP where she focused on tax planning for partnerships, corporations, Ms. Black earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Kansas. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
