Shobana Gopal, CPA*

Ms. Shobana Gopal joined the firm in 2006 and serves as a managing director. She primarily is responsible for all aspects of tax functions for all public funds (closed-end, open-end and ETFs), private funds & the Advisor and also serves as vice president of Tortoise's closed- end funds. Previously, Ms. Gopal worked in public accounting preparing tax returns for large partnerships, corporations, S corporations and individuals; preparation of multi-state tax returns for partnerships, corporations and individuals; and tax planning for companies and individuals. Ms. Gopal earned a degree from PSG College of Arts & Science in India and a Master of Science in Business with an emphasis in information systems from the University of Kansas. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
