Jennifer Paquette

Jennifer Paquette serves as an independent director for the Tortoise Capital Advisors' closed-end funds. Previously, she was the chief investment officer for Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association (PERA). Colorado PERA is a public employee retirement plan with a $44 billion investment portfolio at the time of her retirement in 2017. Ms. Paquette joined the organization in 1995 and served as chief investment officer from 2003-2017. Prior to Colorado PERA, Ms. Paquette was vice president, institutionalaccount executive for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith where she sold high yield bonds to institutions.Ms. Paquette also worked for Alliance CapitalManagement, as vice president, portfolio managerwhere she managed high yield bond portfolios. She earned a  Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics. She is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado. She is a former member of the PCAOB Standing Advisory Board. Ms. Paquette currently serves on a number of non-profit boards including the Samaritan Institute.
