Ms. Jennifer Black joined the firm in 2017 and serves as a managing director and tax analyst. She is primarily responsible for all aspects of tax functions related to Tortoise’s closed- and open-end funds and exchange-traded funds. Previously, Ms. Black served as a manager with KPMG, LLP where she focused on tax planning for partnerships, corporations, Ms. Black earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Kansas. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA).
