Mr. David Roeder joined the firm in 2018 and currently serves as a director of sustainable lending. He is responsible for identifying and originating direct placement bonds and loans for inclusion within private and institutional funds managed by the firm. Mr. Roeder has more than 32 years of experience in the originating, underwriting, documenting and syndicating of tax-exempt and taxable financings for U.S. public sector clients, and has been responsible for the origination of more than $4 billion in public sector fundings. He serves as board chair of the Association for Governmental Leasing and Finance, the leading industry association of professionals involved in the direct, private placement financing sector and as a board member of the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra. He previously served on the Financial Advisory Committee of Consolidated School District No. 158 of Huntley, Ill. and as adjunct faculty member of DePaul University’s Finance Department, teaching portfolio investment management to undergraduate students. Mr. Roeder received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in banking and finance from Mississippi State University, and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from DePaul University.
