Brent Behrens, CFA*

Mr. Brent Behrens joined the firm in 2005 and now serves as the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Behrens previously served as managing director and controller at the firm, overseeing accounting and financial reporting. Prior to that, he served as the director of the firm's financial operations, supporting the financial and operational aspects of the mutual and closed-end funds, as well as serving as the principal financial officer of Tortoise's closed-end funds. Previously, he was a portfolio accountant at State Street Corp. Mr. Behrens graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting. He is a CFA® charterholder.
